1968 Kaiser Jeep M715

This truck is the boss' personal possession that he purchased June of 1980 at a government
auction. It originally was a 725 ambulance with less than 4,000 miles on it. The chassis,
suspension and differentials are from the 725. The body is from an excellent truck that was
mechanically cannabalized. It was installed on the chassis in 1981. This unit is excellent
throughout. It is powered by a 6.2 CUCV V-8 Diesel with Humvee injection, R4 700 overdrive
automatic transmission with New Process transfer case. It has hydraboost brakes with new
cylinders, shoes & lines using silicone brake fluid. Saginaw variable ration power steering.
Leese-Nevel 100 amp 24 volt electrical system. Hybrid Jeep/Chev heater & defrost system.
Bostrom M911 viking T-bar hydraulic seats. 6L batteries, Michelin XZL 1100-R-16 tires.
3 inch aluminized free flow exhaust. Mil Spec 24084 Polane-T paint. Correct canvas top.
24 volt lighting with functional black-outs. Plus much more.
This truck is as close to new as economically feasible. It is a combination of a highly
collectable military vehicle that has been re-engineered using components from modern
military vehicles to achieve a truck that happily drives at 70 miles per hour plus, in comfort.
The vehicle now gets 20+ miles to the gallon at highway speed.
