GMC “M” Series Fuel Pump Conversion
Puts the fuel pump outside the gas tank for easier servicing.

Includes (as pictured above):
New Filter, Fuel line, Hose clamps, Brass fittings, Cable ties.
N.O.S. or Used Fuel pump (replacement guarantee if pump fails to operate).

Installation Instructions

1. Remove pump canister from fuel tank.

2. Remove and discard original pump and filters.

3. Plug bleed-back hole in fuel pickup tube near top of tank.
(Solder or clamp hose over hole.)

4. Replace canister.

5. Cut fuel line approximately one foot (12”) forward of tank.

6. Mount pump to frame with removable cap up.

7. Connect fuel lines:
Tank to “pump in”
“Pump out” to “filter in”
“Filter out” to engine

8. Connect pump power lead to positive lead for original pump.

9. Switch ignition on and check for leaks.
