TECH TIP: THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE A 6 VOLT SYSTEM ON
YOUR MOTORCYCLE. DO NOT RUN IT WITHOUT
A BATTERY. The old 6 volt systems do not have a separate regulator.
The battery acts as a regulator.
IF YOU RUN IT WITHOUT THE BATTERY, THE HEADLIGHT WILL BURN OUT.

TECH TIP #2: If you charge your battery while it is still on the bike, DO NOT TURN THE KEY ON!
The regulator, rectifier units cannot take it.

Very nice paint. Hard bags. Fairing. Engine guards. Sissy Bar. Good tires. Strong engine.
Major service done in May 2009, including points, plugs, belts, oil change, carbs cleaned.
25,xxx miles on replacement engine. Was running & driving last summer.
Bike has no battery, broken throttle cable, sticky front brakes.
